Liverpool Cares is a community network operating across the great city of Liverpool.
Our work bringing young professionals and older people together is designed to meet three key objectives:
Although we are a local organisation with Liverpudlian identity, we have a national infrastructure and economies of scale. We also have a growing body of evidence that shows that our community network model really works, improving people's lives and helping people to feel part of their community again. To see some of our data and read case studies, please visit the difference we make page.
Our work is already supported by wonderful investments from Nesta, the Big Lottery and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation. As we develop Liverpool Cares over the coming years, we need to broaden our support from trusts and foundations so that we can continue to bring older and younger people together and tackle loneliness in Liverpool.
If you are from a trust or foundation and may be interested in supporting Liverpool Cares' work or expansion, please contact our founder Alex on firstname.lastname@example.org. We'd love to hear from you.
